- Dancing in 1942, and played opposite Clark Gable in Mogambo,
- Humphrey Bogart in The Barefoot Contessa, Gregory Peck in On
- the Beach and Richard Burton in The Night of the Iguana. Her
- sultry beauty, reddish-brown hair and green eyes made her the
- box-office equal of Rita Hayworth and Marilyn Monroe, as well
- as the tantalizing subject of gossip columns; she was married
- to Mickey Rooney, musician Artie Shaw and Frank Sinatra.
